Water
Water treatment and water softeners
Scale and sludge slowly clog heat exchangers and pipes. The boiler heats less well, uses more fuel and eventually breaks down. Treating the water protects the installation, in a home as much as in an industrial boiler room.

What untreated water leaves behind
Two parts removed during our call-outs: a boiler pipe that is almost blocked and a scaled hot-water heat exchanger.

What an installation looks like
This is what it looks like on a job: a water softener in a home, then the water treatment of a commercial boiler room.

For a home
- Whole-house water softener with a bypass and a pre-filter.
- Power flushing of the heating system, especially before a new boiler is fitted.
- Magnetic filter on the return to catch sludge.
- Softener servicing and hardness setting.
For buildings and industry
In a large installation, one blocked heat exchanger can leave a whole building without heating or stop production.
- Analysis of the circuit and choice of a suitable solution.
- Softening, filtration and flushing of boiler room circuits.
- Installation and follow-up of industrial water treatment.
Frequently asked questions
Is a water softener worth it with a new boiler?
Yes, it is the right moment to fit one: it protects the heat exchanger from day one. Before replacing a boiler, we also recommend flushing the system so that sludge from the old installation does not foul the new one.
Does a water softener need servicing?
Yes. The salt tank has to be topped up, and the regeneration and outlet water hardness should be checked from time to time.
Do you work outside Brussels?
Yes, across Belgium: in Brussels, Flanders and Wallonia. Our gas and heating oil approvals are valid in all three regions.
