Boiler installation and replacement

When a boiler keeps breaking down or reaches the end of its life, it is better to plan its replacement before it gives up in the middle of winter. We help you choose the appliance, install it with its connections and flue, then commission it.

New Vaillant ecoTEC pro condensing wall-hung boiler, connected with copper and steel pipes in a basement

Before and after

In this basement, two floor-standing boilers vented through flexible flue pipes, with insulation held on by tape. They were replaced by two Vaillant ecoTEC pro condensing wall-hung boilers, with filters on the system and a combustion test at commissioning.

How a replacement works

  1. Visit

We look at the existing boiler, the chimney, the radiators and how much hot water you need.

  2. Quote

A detailed quote: the appliance, the connections, the flue and the labour.

  3. Installation

We remove the old boiler, fit the new one and connect it to the fuel, water and flue.

  4. Commissioning

Settings, combustion analysis and an explanation of the boiler and its thermostat.

What we install

  • Condensing wall-hung and floor-standing boilers, gas or oil.
  • High-output boilers for residential and commercial buildings.
  • Flue liners and flues designed for condensing boilers.
  • Magnetic filters and heating system protection.

Frequently asked questions

Does the chimney need changing for a condensing boiler?

Usually, yes. The flue gases of a condensing boiler are cooler and humid, so they need a sealed flue that withstands condensate, usually a liner. We check this during the visit.

Will a condensing boiler work with my radiators?

Yes. It is most efficient when the water returning from the radiators is cool enough for the flue gases to condense. A well-set heating curve helps.

Can I switch from oil to gas?

Yes, if the building is connected to the gas network or can be. We explain the steps during the visit.

Do you work on every brand?

Yes. We specialise in Remeha, Viessmann and Buderus, and we also work on other brands.

Describe the breakdown or the project.

A phone call is often enough. For a quote, a few lines and a photo of the appliance’s rating plate save us time.
