An air-to-air heat pump heats in winter and cools in summer. An air-to-water heat pump feeds your radiators or underfloor heating, on its own or alongside a boiler. We install and service both.

An approved refrigeration company

Installing or servicing equipment that contains refrigerant requires an approval. Seb’Tech holds a category 1 refrigeration approval, which covers air conditioning and heat pumps of any size.

Before you choose a heat pump

An air-to-water heat pump works best with low-temperature heating water. The building’s insulation and the type of emitters, radiators or underfloor heating, decide whether it can replace the boiler or should work alongside it.

We go through these points with you before suggesting an appliance.

Grants

Grants change often and differ from one region to another. This is where they stand for a heat pump; check the official page before you sign the quote.

Brussels: RENOLUTION grants, no new application is possible for invoices dated 2025 or 2026.
Wallonia: new support scheme, the Habitation grants closed on 30 September 2026 and are being replaced by loans (Rénopack, Rénoprêt).
Flanders: Mijn VerbouwPremie, grant open for heat pumps installed or validated by a RESCert-certified installer.

Frequently asked questions

Can a heat pump replace my boiler?

Sometimes. It depends on the insulation, the radiators and the water temperature they need. When a heat pump is not enough on its own, a hybrid system keeps the boiler for the coldest days.

Does air conditioning need servicing?

Yes: cleaning the filters and heat exchangers, checking operation and, depending on the amount of refrigerant, the periodic leak check required by law.

Do you work at weekends?

Yes. We answer every day, Saturday and Sunday included, from 8 am to 7 pm.

Do you work outside Brussels?

Yes, across Belgium: in Brussels, Flanders and Wallonia. Our gas and heating oil approvals are valid in all three regions.
